A hybrid heat pump combines a pellet boiler and a heat pump in one compact unit. Siemens control compares the cost of heat from both sources and automatically switches to the cheaper one. No manual adjustments needed – the system adapts to the current temperature, electricity tariff and pellet price.
Two sources, lower costs
The heat pump covers most of the heating season on its own. In severe frost, when its efficiency drops, the pellet boiler takes over. The result is operating costs 30–40% lower than a boiler or heat pump alone. And if there’s a power outage, the pellet boiler keeps heating.
Who is it for
Larger or older houses with a heat loss of 15–25 kW. Properties without gas. Renovations where you want a modern solution with a backup heat source. And for those who don’t want to depend solely on electricity.
